Full Journal pdf2000-04-21 House Journal Page 3425 HB 67 Representative Green moved and asked unanimous consent that the House consider the Senate message (page 3287) on the following at this time: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 67(JUD) am "An Act relating to release of certain persons alleged to have committed certain sexual offenses." and SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 67(JUD) (same title) There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Green moved that the House concur in the Senate amendment to CSHB 67(JUD) am, thus adopting SCS CSHB 67(JUD), and recommended that the members vote no. The question being: "Shall the House concur in the Senate amendment to CSHB 67(JUD) am?" The roll was taken with the following result: 2000-04-21 House Journal Page 3426 HB 67 SCS CSHB 67(JUD) Concur YEAS: 3 NAYS: 28 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 9 Yeas: Bunde, Kohring, Ogan Nays: Austerman, Berkowitz, Brice, Cissna, Coghill, Cowdery, Croft, Davis, Dyson, Foster, Green, Halcro, Harris, Hudson, James, Joule, Kapsner, Kemplen, Kerttula, Kookesh, Morgan, Moses, Murkowski, Phillips, Porter, Rokeberg, Smalley, Whitaker Absent: Barnes, Davies, Grussendorf, Kott, Masek, Mulder, Sanders, Therriault, Williams And so, the House failed to concur in the Senate amendment, thus failing to adopt SCS CSHB 67(JUD). The Chief Clerk was instructed to so notify the Senate and respectfully request it to recede. In the event the Senate fails to recede from its amendment, pursuant to Uniform Rule 42(a), the Speaker appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with a like committee from the Senate to consider the above bills: Representative Rokeberg, Chair Representative Murkowski Representative Kerttula
